Barking Mad 4th May

I’m delighted to be exhibiting my latest collection of dog portraits at Brockwell Bark on Monday 4th May, running from 2pm to 5pm on Brockwell Hall Lawn, a brilliant local event that celebrates our four-legged companions and the community around them. Set in the heart of Brockwell Park, it’s a lively, friendly gathering of dog lovers, makers, and small businesses, and the perfect setting to share my work with people who understand just how much character and charm dogs bring into our lives.

My paintings focus on capturing the individuality of each dog, their expression, posture, and those small details that make them instantly recognisable to their owners. Working primarily in oils, I aim to create portraits that feel both lifelike and full of personality, whether it’s a calm, soulful gaze or a slightly mischievous glint in the eye. Each piece is painted with care and attention, often inspired by real dogs I’ve met or been commissioned to paint.

If you’re visiting Brockwell Bark, do come and say hello. I’ll be exhibiting a range of original works and will be happy to chat about commissions if you’re interested in having a portrait of your own dog. It should be a great afternoon, and I’m very much looking forward to being part of such a warm and welcoming event.
