The Streatham Hill Theatre first opened its doors to the public on the 24th October 1929 and fast became one of the major venues for touring West End productions. However, with the rapid growth of TV and dwindling audiences, the theatre was forced to close in 1962 and converted into a Bingo Hall. For a brief history of the Theatre click here. |
