My Technique

Nowadays many painters like to use photographs as a visual aid. Not only is the camera lens a wonderful tool for capturing a person or pet's expression and character, it can also save you the time of a lengthy traditional 'sitting'. I like to take these photographs myself to ensure quality, but I can work from ones you send me if this is more convenient.

My preferred medium is oils but I also work in acrylics when fast drying times are needed. All pieces are painted on fine linen canvas and come with a simple baton framing, black or natural wood finish (if other framing is required please let me know).
